Great post, Gwendolyn. Wow, you memorized all that stuff. I love that you write and surf. Check out my friend Scott Adams ‘Surf Stronger’ workouts at SurfStronger.com. Now a few questions for you, ‘cuz I’m dying to do my own video for my novel-in-progress ‘Night Surfing – A Story of Love and Wonder in the Waves of Malibu’ Did you use the microphone on the video cam or did you have someone holding a hand-held mic in front of you so you could block out ambient noise? How long was it, I’m sure there’s a standard for YouTube and places like that, yes? You looked adorable. I’ve taken two courses with Bronwyn at Writers At Work. She’s great and knows how to handle me, I can be frustrating to work with only because I am so not good at technology. My friend Scott of SurfStronger says if I could just conquer technology, I’d be unstoppable. You gotta love a friend like that! Baby steps, Gwendolyn! Thanks for inspiring me…Mary Kennedy Eastham, Author, ‘The Shadow of a Dog I Can’t Forget’
thanks, Mary! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I had fun making it…even though it took me many many many many (so many!) trips and tries to make it work…
how you do it will depend entirely on your equipment so it will require that you just try try and try again
are you on a Mac or a PC? Macs work much more intuitively for me…
good thing you have people to support and guide you! good luck!
